About this Event
Together, we want to build a welcoming, safe, and supportive network across our community for people living with Parkinson’s, and we want you to join us by becoming “Parkinson’s Friendly” to the communities you serve.
At this event we will provide you with the information and training you need to become “Parkinson’s Friendly”, and you will come away with a range of resources to help you and people living with Parkinson’s feel more supported and connected in the community.
In the interactive training session, you will:
- Learn about Parkinson's as a condition and how it can impact people
- Learn how to signpost individuals to information and essential local support services
- Understand what you can do to create more inclusive environments in your organisation or space
- Receive your Level 1 certificate and resource pack to promote your “Parkinson’s Friendly" status to the local community.
Lunch will be provided.
Spaces are strictly limited so secure your spot today!
