International Mission Board (IMB), SBC.
Henry Phan arrived in the U.S. as a refugee in 1975 following the end of the Vietnam War. He and his wife, Thu, have two children and a granddaughter.
For 10 years, Henry served as the senior pastor of the Tacoma Rivers of Grace Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington, and spent 22 years serving as a missionary in Germany, Thailand, and Malaysia. Henry earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Gateway Seminary in 1996.
