Step into the world of The Tashkent Files, the gripping political mystery thriller that explores one of India's most enduring questions: What really happened to former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri?
Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, the film brings together a group of journalists, researchers, politicians and individuals with very different perspectives as they investigate the circumstances surrounding Shastri's death in Tashkent in 1966.
With its mystery-driven narrative, multiple perspectives and questions around history, truth and the stories that become part of a nation's collective memory, The Tashkent Files invites audiences to watch closely, question what they hear and form their own perspectives.
