Painting on Glass Class (traditional techniques) - 16th May, 2026

This one day course is designed for those wanting to learn traditional painting on glass techniques. This course has been designed with complete beginners in mind, so no previous stained glass experience is needed.

Areas covered :

• mixing vitreous paints with various mediums such as vinegar, oils and gum Arabic

• silver stain (a techique from which 'stained glass' gets its name)

• traditional painting techniques

• types of brushes traditionally used

• kiln firing

There is a limit of six people per glass painting workshop enabling individual tuition, please note that we will only run this class once a year. Price includes materials.
