🎨 PAINT LIKE THE MASTERSFour iconic artists. Four beautiful paintings. Four creative evenings.
Ever fancied painting your very own Van Gogh, Picasso, Matisse or Frida Kahlo masterpiece?
Well, now you can!
This January, we're launching something a little different at Imaginators, and we're SO excited about this one!
Introducing Paint Like the Masters — a series of four relaxed, colourful and completely beginner-friendly painting evenings, each inspired by one of the world's most famous artists.
Think of it as a paint-along with a little art history sprinkled in!
Each month, we'll take one iconic painting and break it down into simple, manageable steps. We'll paint alongside you, showing you exactly what to do, from the first brushstroke to the finishing touches.
No experience? No problem. You don't need to be artistic, know anything about art or even have held a paintbrush before.
Just come along, enjoy a couple of hours getting creative and leave with your very own hand-painted masterpiece!
🖌️ THE FOUR PAINT-ALONGS
🌻 Tuesday 12th January — Van Gogh's Sunflowers
We're kicking things off with a classic!
Join us as we recreate Van Gogh's famous Sunflowers, with its gorgeous golden yellows, textured petals and expressive brushstrokes.
We'll guide you through every stage of bringing this beautiful bunch of flowers to life on canvas.
🐈 Tuesday 9th February — Matisse's Colourful Cat
Bold colours, playful patterns and one very cheeky cat!
Inspired by the colourful world of Henri Matisse, we'll paint a vibrant cat reaching into a fishbowl, surrounded by wonderful shapes, patterns and colour.
A really fun painting that's guaranteed to brighten up your walls!
🌺 Tuesday 9th March — Frida Kahlo Portrait
This month we're celebrating the wonderfully colourful world of Frida Kahlo!
We'll guide you through creating a beautiful Frida-inspired portrait, complete with vibrant flowers, bold colours and plenty of personality.
And don't worry if portraits sound intimidating — we'll break the whole thing down into easy-to-follow steps.
💜 Tuesday 13th April — Picasso's The Dream
We're finishing our series with something a little different!
Inspired by Picasso's famous painting The Dream (Le Rêve), we'll recreate this beautiful, colourful portrait with its flowing shapes, soft curves and striking colours.
It might look complicated, but we'll show you just how achievable it can be!
