Bring your creativity outdoors for Paint at the Park, a plein air art competition presented by the Adams County Arts Council at the Adams County Farmers Market!
Artists ages 14 and older are invited to capture the sights, colors, and energy of the Gettysburg Rec Park using oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, drawing materials, collage, and other permitted two-dimensional media.
Registration and surface stamping from 8:00 to 9:00am. Participants will have from 9:00am to noon to create an original work of art entirely on-site through direct observation.
REGISTER AT THE LINK BELOW!

Artists of all experience levels are welcome, with separate adult and student divisions and prizes awarded to the top three finishers in each. Registration also includes exhibit participation, an awards reception, and an Adams County Arts Council logo cap while supplies last.
Pack your easel and art supplies, then get ready to paint the park, and perhaps take home a prize! This rain-or-shine event is open to spectators, so market visitors are encouraged to explore the park, watch the artists at work, and see the finished pieces displayed before awards are announced at 12:30pm.
