Enjoy the ambience of a small group setting as you step away from the noise, slow down, and discover what happens when you connect with yourself and others through creativity, mindfulness, and intuitive painting.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll be guided through a meditative practice to quiet your mind, tune into your body and energy, and connect with your own inner sense of knowing. From there, you'll bring what you discover into your own unique painting, allowing colour, marks and movement to become a personal expression of your experience.
You'll be gently guided to trust your inner wisdom, follow what feels right, and discover what emerges when you paint from an intuitive place.
A feature that makes this workshop so special is that you'll be painting with pure gemstone watercolour paints made with Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Red and Yellow Jasper.
These luminous paints bring an ancient artistic tradition into the present day and into your own hands, as you are guided to create your own paint palette and explore traditional and intuitive painting techniques.
Throughout history, master artists created their own paints by grinding minerals and gemstones into pigments. This workshop brings a little of that history into your hands, giving you the opportunity to experience painting with these beautiful gemstone pigments and connecting with their natural energy as you create.
You'll leave with paintings that hold a personal message for you, a memorable creative experience, and simple mindful and intuitive practices you can return to whenever you want to slow down, become present, and reconnect with yourself.
No painting experience is needed. Whether you're an experienced artist, learning watercolour, or simply drawn to the energy of crystals - come curious, open-minded, and ready to play with colour.
