Pages & Pours is Sapphire Lounge's monthly gathering for readers, wine lovers, cocktail people, and anyone who enjoys a great conversation in a beautiful setting. Each month, we'll gather over a featured book, thoughtfully paired cocktails and wines, and a relaxed, welcoming discussion. No pressure, no pop quiz, and no need to have read — or finished — the book to join us. The evening:
6:00–6:30 | Arrive, Sip & Settle In — Grab a seat, order a featured cocktail or wine pairing, enjoy small bites, and meet fellow book lovers before the discussion begins.
6:30–7:30 | Guided Book Conversation — A relaxed, host-led conversation about the month's selection: its characters, themes, favorite moments, and whatever else it sparks. Expect thoughtful prompts, natural conversation, and absolutely no pressure to speak if you'd rather listen.
7:30–7:45 | What's Next — We'll reveal or vote on an upcoming selection and share the next gathering date.
7:45–8:30 | Stay for Another Chapter — Keep the conversation going over another glass, a nightcap, or a few bites. This is often where the best book recommendations — and the best stories — begin.
What to expect:
- A new featured book each month, announced in advance
- A book-inspired cocktail and curated wine pairing with every gathering (optional zero-proof selection for guests who prefer it)
- A relaxed, inclusive discussion — whether you finished every page, started the book, or haven't opened it yet
- A welcoming space for solo guests, friends, regulars, and first-time visitors
- A chance to help select future reads
- The full Sapphire Lounge beverage and small bites menu available throughout the evening
We ask only that guests remain respectful of one another's perspectives and help preserve the welcoming, easygoing atmosphere. Spoilers are part of a book-club conversation, but our host will always give a quick heads-up before the group moves into major plot points.
