Come and join us for the ISDRA Sanctioned and IFSS Accredited Minocqua’s Almost Winter Dryland Dog Dash. Event location: Minocqua Winter Park, 7543 Squirrel Hill Rd, Minocqua, WI 54548.
Spectators are more than welcome and encouraged to attend, but we do ask that you leave your pets at home.
Classes Offered:
Men’s, Women’s, and Junior Canicross
1-dog Bike (Pro, Registered Breed, Sport)
2-dog Bike (Pro, Registered Breed, Sport)
1-dog Scooter (Pro, Registered Breed, Sport)
2-dog Scooter (Pro, Registered Breed, Sport)
4-dog Rig (Pro, Registered Breed, Sport)
6-dog Rig (Pro, Registered Breed)
Junior Wheeled (3-dog Rig and 1- or 2-dog Bike or Scooter)
Mileage:
Adult Canicross, rig classes, and 2-dog classes will be on a 3.2 mile course.
All 1-dog classes will be on a 2.3 mile course.
All junior classes and the Saturday fun run will be on a 1.2 mile course.
Membership:
All racers will be required to be a current WI Trailblazers member. Those chasing overall points with ISDRA and IFSS will need to be current members prior to the start of the event.
Purse:
Minimum $1500. This will be a pot race, so the final purse will be determined after registration closes. There will be a Pro and a Registered Northern Breed purse.
Awards:
Given to top 3 finishers of all classes and all groupings.

Our Link will be shared soon with registration opening on Monday, September 7th, 2026 and closing at 8:00PM CST on Sunday, October 25th.
Fun:
We will be having a fun run and costume parade (with prizes!) on Saturday after the racing is over.

•7:45am - Packet pickup begins in Chalet
•8:00am - Driver’s meeting
•9:00am - Races start (Race order TBD)
•3:30pm - Canicross Fun Run and Costume Parade
Sunday
(Note: Daylight Savings Time Ends and clocks fall back)

Other Information:
Dublin’s Patty Wagon will be on site serving food Saturday from 9AM to 6PM and Sunday from 9AM to 3PM.
Vendors are welcome! Please reach out to [email protected] if you would like to set up at our event.
Any training on trails will be weather dependent prior to race day. No ATV training will be allowed on the course.
Camping will be available on site for a $25 nightly fee. 10 sites with electric will also be available for $45 per night.
