Oxford Scuba Divers AGM – 18th November @ 8pm!It’s nearly that time of year again — our Club AGM is on Wednesday 18th November, starting promptly at 8pm at the Clubhouse.
The AGM is a chance to hear what’s been happening over the past year, have your say on the future of the club, and — importantly — help decide who will be running things for the year ahead.
We’d particularly like to encourage members to put themselves forward for a committee role. You don’t need to have been involved in running a club before, or have a huge amount of diving experience and you certainly don’t need to be an expert administrator! The club relies on members getting involved, and there are roles to suit different interests, skills and levels of commitment.
If you’ve ever thought you'd like to get a bit more involved with the club, this is a great opportunity to do it. Even if you’re not sure whether a particular role is for you, have a chat with one of the current committee beforehand — we’d be very happy to talk it through.
And this year we’re making it a Bring a Plate AGM!
Bring along something tasty to share — homemade, shop-bought, savoury, sweet… whatever you fancy. Let’s make it a bit more social than the average AGM!

Please come along, get involved, have your say — and hopefully enjoy some food and a drink with fellow divers afterwards!
