Your child will take part in the kinds of everyday jobs that keep ponies happy, healthy and comfortable – with plenty of support along the way.
Activities include:
Grooming and caring for their pony
Completing daily stable and yard tasks (the real essentials!)
Learning how to look after a pony safely and kindly
A chance to ride on a pony at the end of the day (subject to suitability)
Own A Pony Day is suitable for ages 6-16, whether they’re pony-mad beginners or already confident around horses.
It’s especially brilliant for children who:
Love animals and want a full ‘owning their own pony’ experience
Learn best by doing (hands-on, practical and engaging)
Want a confidence boost and a day they’ll talk about for weeks
