As we approach the November 2026 election, it is critical that the NAACP Santa Clarita Branch remain engaged in educating our communities about the propositions that will appear on the ballot.
The NAACP California/Hawaiʻi State Conference, the state-level coordinating body of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), has carefully reviewed the 14 statewide ballot measures and established positions based on their potential impact on racial equity, economic opportunity, democratic participation, healthcare, housing, and other issues affecting our communities.
Our goal is to ensure that voters in the Santa Clarita Valley have access to accurate, accessible information and understand where the NAACP stands on the issues.
