OUMA Community Days allow community members to explore the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art's current exhibitions for free while enjoying food from local vendors, shopping from student businesses, listening to live music, and more. The museum's current exhibitions include:
Realism Revisited: This exhibition includes paintings and works on paper by artists representing a variety of realist movements, including European Realism, American Realism, Hyperrealism, and Social Realism.
Conversations with Collections: This reimagining of the OUMA permanent collection challenges assumptions, upends stereotypes and inspires conversation! Interactive, inquisitive and decidedly unusual, we have carefully paired seemingly disparate objects to foster a refreshingly new way to consider art.
