Come learn about the iconic history of posters created in response to oppressive forces.About this Event
The Organization of Solidarity with the People of Africa, Asia, and Latin America (OPAAAL) played a large role in pushing for collective resistance in the late 20th century. This teach-in workshop examines their history and teaches participants how to unpack visuals and develop a new way of reading art.
The progamming is led by Jazz Peña (instagram.com/this_aint_jazz) and is part of a 3-Day Activation under the national banner, Fall of Freedom (falloffreedom.com), uniting artists under the theme of creative resistance.
