Dates: Oct. 7th - 11th of October.
We invite you to the most fabulous time here in lovely Oslo, to celebrate Hoppen, experience a proper HYTTE (!), learn why Oslo is better than Bergen and of course attend our lovely Hoppball (årsfest)!🕺💃🏻
The theme for the week is International Transactions, and you will all have had a proper introduction to this field by the end of our time together. Together with our skilled collaborators we hope you will leave this week with some interesting knowledge (among other things).
For early-birds the week will kick off on Tuesday with a quiz (put your competitive hat on), because the competition at Frokostkjelleren tends to be tough! Prepare for our lovely student bar to provide cheap (read; Norway-cheap) drinks, the best vibes and the toughest competition!
On Wednesday we will kick off the day with a lecture at Rederiforbundet to engage our minds in something academic, before we will make our way to the Hytte! Unfortunately, our very own Hoppeseter is currently undergoing renovation… But! Hold your tears - we have secured a perfect location not far from Sætra itself and are prepared to show you what a proper Hyttetur should entail! Bring good shoes - as you should know by now: there is no bad weather, only bad clothing! Come dressed in your best Zara Larsson outfit, it may be October - but summer isn't over yet! ✨💜
On Thursday morning we will enjoy breakfast before heading back to the city for a lecture with Juristforeningens main sponsor Wikborg Rein right in the city centre. We hope your heads aren't too filled from Wednesday , because we are then heading to our second lecture of the day in the offices of Seland Rödl. In the evening we will teach you how to vors (pregame) in Oslo-style, before heading to Frokostkjelleren for the annual Oktoberfest! Dresscode is dirndl and lederhosen if you have one!
TGIF because we can feel our feet starting to tingle! We will start our day with a morning lecture at the offices of Simonsen Vogt Viig, before taking you all along for a lovely surprise! This should give you plenty of time to get ready for the grand Nordisk Sitning! The theme for the evening is cowboy/låvefest, so pimp up your outfits and arrive prepared for a proper norwegian fest! On Saturday you will have plenty of time to sleep in and get your glam on for the Hoppeball! We will then meet again at the offices of Wikborg Rein for the medal ceremony and some predrinks! After another lovely time, we will head to Grand Hotel to enjoy the unforgettable Hoppeball!🎖🌟
On Sunday you will have time to process your amaaazing evening and sleep in before we meet to sing our goodbyes at Sillis.
