Brighton-born singer-songwriter Orla Rae is a rising force in the UK R&B and soul scene, blending soulful vocals, rich harmonies and emotionally sharp songwriting across R&B, soul, pop and jazz. Inspired by artists including Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, Jazmine Sullivan and Victoria Monet, Orla’s sound feels both timeless and forward-thinking.
Championed by BBC Radio 1Xtra, Reprezent Radio, KISS Xtra and Rinse FM, her debut EP has surpassed 300,000 streams, with strong editorial support including the cover of Spotify’s R&B UK playlist. Her recent singles have continued to build momentum, while a standout performance at SXSW London further cemented her reputation as a captivating live artist.
With the upcoming release of her second EP in October, Orla is stepping into a bold new chapter, firmly cementing herself as one of the UK’s most compelling emerging voices in R&B and soul.
Sophia Rose
22-year-old independent singer-songwriter from Brighton, blending Soul, Jazz and Pop influences into a sound that’s both timeless and intimate. Inspired by artists like Lianne La Havas, her music pairs intricate, expressive vocals with deeply personal songwriting and rich soulful piano chords. She has performed at renowned venues including The Roundhouse and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, and released her debut self-produced single Dear Twenty in September 2025. With a live piano EP in the works, Sophia’s songwriting is honest and personal, and she aims to build a genuine musical and personal connection with her audience.
