About this Event
What makes something original?
Every artist draws from somewhere: culture, memory, lived experience, and the work that came before. ORIGINALITY: Influence vs. Imagination explores what happens when those influences meet an artist’s own voice.
Join Catalyst Studios and Westborn Collectives for two evenings of art, storytelling, and connection. Discover work by emerging and independent artists, explore the stories behind their creative choices, and consider where influence ends and imagination begins.
Rooted in our mission to connect cultures and elevate artists, this exhibition brings perspectives from West Africa and the United States into a shared conversation about identity, expression, and originality.
Whether you’re an art collector, a creative, or simply curious, come explore the exhibition, connect with others, and discover artwork available for purchase.
