About this Event

We’re delighted to announce that the next Oracle Higher Education User Community will take place on 3rd November 2026 at Oracle’s Moorgate office in London.
This year, the event is expanding. For the first time, we’re bringing Applications (Track 1) and Technology (Track 2) together under our One Oracle approach, with two dedicated streams designed to offer greater choice, deeper insight and a more connected experience across the Oracle platform.

New for this year, we’ll also have a dedicated drop-in room available throughout the day. Our Oracle Solution Consultants will be on hand for informal one-to-one conversations, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, explore particular areas of interest or see demonstrations across our Applications and Technology portfolio. There’s no need to book a session – simply drop in at any point during the day and speak to the team about the topics and solutions that matter most to your institution.

Join colleagues from across the Higher Education community to:
• Explore the latest innovations across Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle Technology
• Discover the growing role of AI across Oracle solutions and what it could mean for Higher Education
• Hear customer experiences, insights and best practices
• Connect with peers and Oracle experts from across our growing community
• Discover how Applications and Technology can work together to support your institution
• Help shape the future of Oracle solutions for Higher Education
Whether you’re an established Fusion user, have recently gone live, are exploring your next steps, or are not currently using Oracle, all universities are welcome.

Please Note: Partner spaces may be limited and based on number of customer attendees to the event.

With hundreds of AI Agents and AI-powered capabilities now available within Oracle Cloud, there is a growing opportunity for organisations to take advantage of AI as part of their existing business processes. But with so much available, understanding where to start – and what this technology can actually do – isn’t always straightforward.

In this session, David will move beyond the theory and bring AI Agents to life through a series of live examples, demonstrating capabilities that are available to customers today. You’ll see how AI Agents can support users across Finance, HCM and EPM, helping to simplify everyday activities, improve productivity and provide a more intuitive way of interacting with Oracle Cloud.

Whether you’re already exploring AI Agents or simply want to understand what’s possible, this session will provide a practical introduction to AI capabilities.

From Process to Agent: The University of Cambridge Journey
Host: Tahir Yousaf - Programme Director

Info: Join the University of Cambridge and KPMG as they share a practical example of how they are exploring Oracle AI to solve a real business challenge and improve the experience for users of Oracle Fusion Cloud.

The session will take you through the journey from identifying an issue within an existing process, to considering how Oracle’s AI capabilities could provide a different approach. Cambridge and KPMG will explain how they identified an opportunity to use an AI Agent to support and automate the University’s Off-Payroll Worker assessment process, replacing a traditional, form-led experience with a more intelligent and guided interaction.

You’ll hear how the team approached the functional gap, identified where an AI Agent could add value, and combined AI with established business rules, Fusion data and workflow to create a solution where the agent can guide the user, gather the information required and help progress the process – while retaining appropriate controls, and approvals.

You’ll also see how a more connected approach can give HR greater oversight of the student workforce, help Finance improve visibility and control of labour costs, and reduce the manual effort involved in scheduling, checking timesheets and resolving payroll exceptions.

By bringing together scheduling, attendance and financial information, Oracle Fusion Workforce Scheduling can provide HR, Finance and operational teams with a clearer, shared view of the student workforce.

Coming Soon: Higher Education Fusion Hackathon
Host: Neil Pardoe - Solution Consultant

Info: Get an early preview of our upcoming Higher Education Fusion Hackathon, planned for January/February 2027.

Designed specifically for the HE community, this will be a hands-on, practical event giving attendees the opportunity to explore what they can build and extend within Oracle Fusion.

Rather than simply watching demonstrations, attendees will be encouraged to bring their own laptops, roll up their sleeves and build. Working individually or alongside colleagues and with support from Oracle experts, you’ll be able to develop ideas and applications using your own test environment – meaning that what you create during the day can be taken away, developed further and potentially put to use within your own institution.

We’ll use this short session to give you a first look at what we’re planning, what you can expect from the day and how your institution can get involved.

This session explores how Oracle AI Data Platform can help universities bring together trusted data to pinpoint areas of the institution where targeted improvements could have the greatest impact on student experience, engagement and retention.

Using examples from across the student journey, we’ll explore how data, analytics and AI can help institutions identify patterns and early indicators of disengagement, understand the factors contributing to student drop-out, and surface opportunities for timely intervention.
