This event is FREE for the Opening Week Celebration!Foundations of Yoga is an all-levels class designed to cultivate a steady, intelligent, and sustainable approach to sādhanā, or daily practice, through the integration of āsana (postures or more specifically seats of Yoga), breath awareness, and focused attention. Guided by Geoffrey, this offering invites a return to the foundations of Yoga - where alignment, presence, and intention form the basis of a grounded and supportive practice.
Through slow, intentional guidance, practitioners are encouraged to explore their awareness of the body, deepen their relationship with the breath, and explore the subtle conversation between effort and ease. Emphasis is placed on intelligent alignment and nervous system regulation, creating space for both stability and adaptability within the practice. Whether you are new to Yoga or coming back to its foundations, this class offers an opportunity to return again and again - to the steady foundation that supports your practice both on and off the mat.
What to Bring?
A yoga mat, blanket, and/or cushion for comfort
A journal and pen for any reflections
