OPENING NIGHT ∞ OFFICIAL OPENING + BAD RITUAL LIVE! 🌀Somewhere between a concert and a film you can’t quite place.
The first day of We Do 2026 leads us into the night with the official festival opening and Bad Ritual live.
For our Opening Night, the Wrocław-based quartet will bring their cinematic, guitar-driven sound to Oslo - melancholic, unsettling and difficult to pin down to a single genre.
Think David Lynch, spaghetti westerns and film noir 👀.. Songs made for midnight hours, strange encounters and places inhabited by misfits, loners and characters living somewhere outside the main story.
And for We Do, Bad Ritual are taking the cinematic connection one step further.
Especially for this concert, the band is planning to weave samples from classic Polish films into their set, accompanied by visuals built from older Polish cinema. A live dialogue between sound and image.

ABOUT BAD RITUAL
Bad Ritual was formed in Wrocław in 2020 by three architects and a music producer.
Their seemingly simple guitar songs sink into dark, atmospheric territory, moving between melancholy, tension and cinematic storytelling. Their live performances are dynamic and unpredictable, often expanding the quartet’s sound with additional musicians, layers and textures.
In early 2024, they released their self-titled debut album Bad Ritual, later named among Turn Up The Volume’s 10 Best Debut Albums of 2024. The band was also included among Teraz Rock’s ten promising new acts and has since played shows including performances alongside Trupa Trupa, at WROFF Festival and Ram Session.
