Calling all closet crooners, plucky practicers, and shower singers! SOLI and Texas Public Radio are looking for performers like you to take the stage at Open Mic X. Musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to apply. All we ask is that you perform contemporary classical music, meaning concert works written after 1970. Your own compositions in that style are welcome, too! Highlights from the evening will air on TPR’s Performance Saturday, taking your music from your living room all the way to the public airwaves. We believe new music belongs to everyone, and we hope you’ll join us.
