This 1,400 sq ft single-level Burnaby home had become too small for a young family of four. We took off the roof, added a 1,429 sq ft upper floor, and opened the main level into one bright, connected modern farmhouse space.
Inside, you’ll see:
- A glass feature staircase connecting all three levels
- An open kitchen with natural oak cabinetry and a Sea Serpent island
- A dining area that opens straight onto the rear deck
- A spa-like primary ensuite with a freestanding soaker tub
- How a second storey addition can blend seamlessly with an existing home
