For nearly 50 years, SafeNest has walked alongside survivors of domestic and sexual violence, helping them find hope, safety, and lasting peace. Today, we invite you to celebrate the next chapter in that mission: the grand opening of One Safe Place.In 2025, domestic violence was the leading cause of homicide in Clark County. For too many survivors, finding help means navigating a fragmented system during the most difficult time of their lives.
As Nevada's first affiliated Family Justice Center, One Safe Place will join a network of more than 200 centers nationwide that have transformed communities by bringing critical services under one roof to reduce domestic violence homicides, increase offender prosecutions, and improve outcomes for survivors.
This historic milestone is possible because of the vision, collaboration, and generosity of donors, partners, and community members.
The ceremony will feature remarks from community leaders, recognition of the partners who helped bring this vision to life, and an opportunity to tour One Safe Place.
