Learn how to DJ at BOXPARK Shoreditch with On the Rise DJ Academy - On The Rise DJ Academy are taking over BEATBOX to host a beginners workshop - Perfect for beginners looking to start their journey into becoming a DJ which will include the following:
- Phrase mixing & mix points
- Matching sound levels
- Understanding EQ – Corrective vs Creative
- Basic Effects
- Understanding beats, bars and phrases
- Song structure analysis
- Introducing loops
- Using effects in the mix
- Using different genres and styles in a mix
- Advance set structure & planning
- Creative mixing over different tempos

On the Rise DJ Academy hosts a new Open Deck event at BOXPARK Shoreditch BEATBOX. Open to all DJs, all genres. Come and play in one of Londons most iconic live venues. A space to share music, connect with fellow DJs and be part of a supportive community.
