Join us on Saturday, September 19, 2026 for a beautiful oceanfront evening of OM Chanting and Sankirtan—a peaceful opportunity to relax, connect, and experience the transformative power of sacred sound together.

This beginner-friendly gathering begins with a guided OM Chanting Circle, followed by a live Sankirtan performance by Raas Leela Kirtana as the closing experience of the evening.

5:30–6:30 PM

Curious about chanting but have never tried it before? This peaceful oceanfront gathering was created especially for beginners.

OM Chanting is a simple group meditation in which everyone repeats the calming sound of OM together. You do not need to know how to sing, meditate, or chant. You will be guided through the entire experience.

As our voices blend with the sound of the ocean, the repeated vibration can help quiet mental noise, encourage deep relaxation, and create a beautiful feeling of connection within the group.

There is nothing to perform and nothing to get right. Simply sit comfortably, follow the guidance, and experience what happens when people come together with one sound and one peaceful intention.

The practice is facilitated by an initiated devotee of spiritual master Paramahamsa Vishwananda, within the lineage of Mahavatar Babaji, the great master of Kriya Yoga.

6:30–7:30 PM

Following the OM Chanting Circle, we will close the evening with a live Sankirtan experience with Raas Leela Kirtana.

Through sacred mantras, devotional bhajans, traditional Indian instruments, and participatory chanting, Raas Leela Kirtana invites everyone to experience the joy and uplifting energy of Bhakti Yoga—the path of devotion.

Sankirtan is not a performance that you simply watch—it is an experience you can participate in. Whether you are completely new to Kirtan or have been practicing for years, you are warmly invited to sing along, listen, meditate, or simply open your heart to the experience.

Together, we will allow the evening to move from the deep stillness of OM Chanting into the joyful, heart-opening energy of Sankirtan, surrounded by the beauty and peaceful rhythm of the ocean.

Meeting Point: 1200 Pacific Coast Hwy in Santa Monica

Please arrive at the designated meeting point before the event begins. This will be the gathering point for all attendees, where we will meet and then walk together as a group to the beach, where the OM Chanting and Kirtan will take place.

Please arrive a little early so that we can begin the group walk together promptly.

• A blanket or pillow to sit on
• Comfortable clothing
• Water — you are welcome to bring water to charge while chanting
• An open heart and peaceful intention

All are welcome. No previous experience with chanting, meditation, or Kirtan is necessary.
