Mindamellett, hogy a zenekar programja Krisztián saját szerzeményeire épül, a tagok mind nagyszerű improvizatőrök is, így a produkció szerves részét képezi a spontán és kollektív improvizáció, mely magában hordozza napjaink szellemiségét és zenei eszköztárát, ezáltal friss és komplex hangzásvilágot formálva a zenekarnak.
A 2026/27-es évad Further Perspectives című sorozatának különlegessége, hogy a tavalyi Perspectives of Verve anyagát követően a közönség exkluzív betekintést nyerhet a kvartett 2027-ben megjelenő új lemezének formálódó zenei világába, ezáltal szinte részeseivé válva az alkotói műhelymunkának. A zenekar sokszínűségét és a klasszikus kortárs zene felé egyre mélyülő elkötelezettségét mi sem bizonyítja jobban, mint hogy az évad során a hazai zenei élet négy kiváló szólistája – a jazz irányából Fekete-Kovács Kornél (trombita, elektronika) és Fenyvesi Márton (gitár), a klasszikus és kortárs zene felől pedig Szabó Ildikó (Cselló) és Láposi Dániel (ütőhangszerek) csatlakozik egy-egy estére vendégként a formációhoz.

The Oláh Krisztián Quartet is Krisztián Oláh’s most important musical project, uniquely blending composition and improvisation into a coherent artistic language. Its music can be described as structured spontaneity: a sound that carries the spirit and musical vocabulary of our time, shaping a fresh, complex and distinctive sonic world.
The members of the quartet are leading figures of the Hungarian jazz, contemporary and alternative music scenes:
Kálmán Oláh - saxophone
Marcell Gyányi - double bass
Dániel Serei - percussion
Krisztián Oláh - piano
While the quartet’s programme is built around Krisztián’s original compositions, all members of the ensemble are outstanding improvisers. As a result, spontaneous and collective improvisation forms an essential part of the performance, carrying the spirit and musical vocabulary of our time, and shaping a fresh, complex sound for the quartet.
The unique feature of the 2026/27 season's Further Perspectives series is that, following last year's Perspectives of Verve material, the audience can gain an exclusive glimpse into the evolving musical world of the quartet's upcoming 2027 album, almost becoming a part of the creative workshop process. The ensemble's versatility and deepening commitment to classical contemporary music are perfectly demonstrated by the fact that throughout the season, four outstanding soloists of the Hungarian music scene will join the formation as guest artists for one evening each: Kornél Fekete-Kovács (trumpet) and Márton Fenyvesi (guitar) coming from the world of jazz, and Ildikó Szabó (cello) along with Dániel Láposi (percussion) coming from classical and contemporary classical background.
