The annual festival transforms historic downtown Jim Thorpe into a Victorian holiday village. December 12 falls squarely during the peak weekend celebration
What will we see?
Strolling Victorian carolers, festive holiday lights, street musicians, and elaborate storefront window displays set against the backdrop of the Pocono Mountains.
Josiah White Park & Central Christmas Tree: Festive holiday displays, thousands of Christmas lights, and vendor stalls centered around the historic downtown park and train depot.
Decorated Storefronts & Race Street Alley: Elaborate holiday window displays, glowing lanterns, and brick pathways lined with historic row houses.
Asa Packer Mansion: The 1861 Italianate estate of coal magnate Asa Packer, fully decorated in Victorian holiday style perched above the town.
Harry Packer Mansion: The red-brick mansion that inspired the look of Disney’s Haunted Mansion, featuring seasonal decor and scenic mountain views.
St. Mark's & St. John's Episcopal Church: Known for its English Gothic architecture, stunning stained-glass windows, and historic Otis elevator.
Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway: Santa Claus Special train rides running through the scenic gorge.
Festival Events: Local craft markets, historic ghost walks, trolley tours, and live musical performances throughout the historic district.
The Old J*il Museum & Mauch Chunk Museum: Iconic stone landmarks showcasing the town's rich coal mining and rail history.
Lehigh Gorge Scenery: Mountain views framing the town, complete with river views and vintage trains rolling along the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway.
