About this Event
Learn how to transform damaged sweaters into a one-of-a-kind accessory. Stop by the SoHo store for a demonstration from Carmen Gama, EILEEN FISHER Circular Design Lead. She will show you how to cut and hand sew your own custom color-blocked scarf using fabric from pre-loved wool sweaters collected through our Renew take-back program.
Space is limited. Register early to reserve your spot. A material fee ($15 or $30, depending on materials chosen) will be collected prior to the workshop. Some knowledge of hand sewing is necessary.
Light refreshments will be served and a collection of gently worn EILEEN FISHER Renew clothes will be available to shop alongside our Fall Collection.
About EILEEN FISHER Renew
Since 2009, we’ve taken back our old clothes in any condition in exchange for a $5 credit per item—it's one way we're taking responsibility for what we make and where it ends up. Clothes in excellent condition are cleaned and resold online, ready for the next life. Pieces that are worn or damaged beyond repair are set aside for textile-to-textile recycling or transformed into something entirely new. With your help, we can design a future without waste.
