Grab your sun hats and your picnic blankets and get ready to join us here at Okines on Friday Nov 27th from 4pm for the first Okines Soirée of the Summer!We've got some awesome live music lined up with Heather Vail and Secret Door bringing the beats, and there will be delicious food and yummy drinks available to purchase as well!
🎸Heather Vail is a Tasmanian indie-folk singer-songwriter with a warm, soulful voice and barefoot acoustic folk sound. Her songs are intimate, earthy and heartfelt, inviting you to slow down, breathe, and listen.
🎸Australiana mystique woven through psych rock and fleeting folk, conjured from the rainbow sea mists of lutruwita/Tasmania’s Southern Beaches on unceded Mumirimina country. Secret Door’s soaring melodies and thundering grooves have brought mischief and joy to many heart-warming events since forming fresh in 2025. You’ve heard them already–remember? On dusk at Bonzaki festival? Or one of those legendary Copping Hall shindigs? Or was it at that cheeky party out at your mate’s cousin’s bush block last Spring? Where late afternoon sunbeams through the forest set your crush’s cheeks aglow, as they winked and beckoned you nearer to the stage, both hearts pounding, cascades of sonic colour shimmering in the air between you. You basked and melted into the lunar glow, as the stars blinked awake. Now, as then, we invite you to approach, embrace, let loose, and surrender to the realms beyond the Secret Door.
