Oh deer! White-Tailed Deer of the Preserve

Another installation of our Second Saturday Safari outdoor education series!

Our year long residents of the Preserve, the white-tailed deer, are the focus of this talk! From hiding in the brush to wandering the Emma Wetlands, these deer can be spotted all over Blue Heron and the Buckhead area. But why are they so important for our environment? Come find out with Rose Guerra, an environmental educator and naturalist.

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Explore the preserve on a guided walk
• Learn all about the white-tailed deer
• Ask questions to an expert
• Possibly spot a deer or two!
