Winter is over. Spring has come. The days become longer and joy resonates across the motu.Nau mai, haere mai, ki te whakanui o te rā, te whakanui o te kōanga, te whakanui o tātou katoa.
6:30pm - Rangimārie
Wicked kaiwaiata and disciple to all that is banging and lesbian, Rangimārie boasts some of her favourite hits as well as renowned classics. She is a certified hooter & hollerer whose scrappy charm will have you dazzled and bespelled. How much magic can a singer make with a guitar? Haere mai and find out 😈
7:30pm - Goldenchild
Goldenchild is surprising and unexpected. Rich songwriting to make you feel intensely, dance, and sing.
Lush acoustic rhythms, dense funk grooves, and the catchiest melodies.
Based in the greatest city on earth (Wellington) our unlikely crew Matt - Bass, Chuck - Drums & Mo - Vocals/guitar, are proud to share our music with you!
8:30pm - Pōhatu
With a lineup of tangata whenua, tangata moana, and tangata tiriti, Pōhatu represents us all. Every time you’ve stolen your flatmate’s noodles, Pōhatu was there. Every time you’ve cried at the beauty of a dove taking flight, Pōhatu was there. Every time you’ve committed tax fraud, Pōhatu was there.
With influences ranging from Vulfpeck to Kendrick Lamar to ō tātou tūpuna, you’re going to laugh, cry, and drop it low for this strange and occasionally unsettling mixture of soundwaves.
Come have some fun.
