🎻 DOMINIQUE BEAUSÉJOUR-OSTIGUY, VIOLONCELLE ET MARIE BÉGIN, VIOLONOff-Bach 2026

🎻 DOMINIQUE BEAUSÉJOUR-OSTIGUY, CELLO AND MARIE BÉGIN, VIOLIN
2026 Off-Bach
From Bach to Ravel, this program explores the possibilities of two-voice dialogue, between contrapuntal rigour, virtuosity and expression. Bach's Inventions reveal the essence of baroque counterpoint, which Ravel draws on and juxtaposes with his modern musical language in his Sonata for Violin and Cello. Closing the program, Handel/Halvorsen's Passacaglia returns directly to the baroque tradition of variation, turning the dialogue between the two instruments into a true whirlwind of virtuosity.
