VATS is a student-led club at Victoria University of Wellington that puts on an ancient play annually, celebrating the fusion of Classical Studies and Theatre, to learn from, and to experience in full. This years' experience comes in the form of the Greek Tragedy 'Oedipus Rex', widely regarded as Sophocles' masterpiece.
Oedipus, King of Thebes, faces a deadly plague which threatens to annihilate his city. In order to stop the plague, Oedipus must solve the murder of his predecessor. But the past holds many secrets; is uncovering them worth the cost?
