Bring your cell phones for a working session with Akron's 311 system. Billed as Akron's "One Call to City Hall," the 311 app and phone system allows residents to submit requests for tall grass/weeds, sanitation services, housing issues and more. First, get a hands-on tutorial about how to download and use the 311 app and follow a service request through the back-end system with Akron's Chief Technology Manager Darren Rozenek.
Then, hear how the 311 call center works with Customer Service Representative Carla Brown.
***Bring your concerns and their addresses, and we'll enter them together!***
As always, our APD Community Engagement Officer will be there, too, to address your safety concerns.
Pizza will be provided. Feel free to bring a dessert or side dish to share.
