We had such a good time turning the dining room into a dumpling workshop for our first jiaozi class that we decided to do it again.
Michelle (General Manager, Mill Valley) and Izzy (Senior HR Director) are back at the front of the class for another hands-on introduction to jiaozi. We’ll cover what the dough should feel like, how to roll a wrapper, what makes a good filling, a little history, a few different folds, cooking methods, and the all-important dipping sauce.
You’ll make your own batch of pork + wild-caught shrimp or vegetarian dumplings to take home, along with dipping sauce and recipes from Chef Brandon Jew. We’ll have dumplings to taste while you learn, then sit down for a full Mamahuhu meal together after class.
If you missed the first one, consider this your second chance to clock in. This is the same class as last time, so returning dumpling makers are welcome too, but there’s no secret advanced certification hiding in round two.
