October is here, and so is our Last Meeting of the Year! It is also an important one, because it's our annual Chapter and Business Meeting. It's especially important that we have a quorum at this meeting, so if you're able to attend, please do! We'll be voting on new board members and talking about our programming plan for the next year. If you have been thinking about getting involved, now is the perfect time! We have a place for you! The League isn't only open to women; just as democracy is for everyone, the League of Women Voters is for everyone, as well. We meet each month at Minnie Hackney Community Service Center of Joplin. We hope you'll join us!
Monday, October 26th is our next #joplinleague chapter meeting! We will be at Minnie Hackney Community Service Center once again at 6:00 pm.
