Octavo Singers present "We looked for Peace"

Two 20th-century masterworks, one search for peace: Poulenc's Gloria opens in radiant celebration; Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem closes in an unresolved plea, weaving Whitman's Civil War poetry into the ancient words of Jeremiah — "We looked for peace, but no good came."
