About this Event
25 Days Holiday Advent
If you’re looking for an artistic & reflective way to truly connect to the magic of the holiday season this year, join us to create a one-of-a-kind personalized Advent Calendar! In this inspiring mixed-media workshop, you will tap into your own history, reflecting on cherished holiday activities and past times. You will design and assemble 25 personalized Advent cards using a curated collection of beautiful vintage cards and scrapbooking materials.
This is more than a craft; it’s a creative way to ensure your season is filled with balance. You’ll mindfully include activities on your cards that are both festive and fun (like caroling or baking cookies) and simple, relaxing reminders to slow down and enjoy the quiet pleasures (like watching a classic movie or reading a book by the fire). Guests will create a festive fabric wrapped frame to display their daily advent activities and we’ll also explore various ways to display your finished pieces, whether you string them up like a tree on twinkle lights or affix them to a holiday backdrop. Leave with a beautiful, functional countdown calendar ready to be enjoyed all season long!
Classes at Thrifty Connections intended for adults and suitable for individuals 16+.
