Toronto's festival of experimental puppetry and object performance is back! Did you miss your dose of weird?
Our 2026 festival includes headliners Mind of a Snail (Vancouver), exquisite collaborations, two evening cabarets, a material-swap room, and much much more. Each Experimental Cabaret features a unique lineup of performers, with a different performance by Mind of a Snail to end the night.
Evening performances are at the Tranzac Club Main Hall, 292 Brunswick Ave, Toronto. The Tranzac Club is an accessible venue, including all performance spaces and washrooms.
Come for one performance, or stay for the whole weekend!
Friday November 6
Doors at 7:30, show at 8pm: Experimental Cabaret #1
Tickets: $20, or $35 for a Two-Night Pass
Featuring Mind of a Snail (Vancouver) with "Inside Outlet", Maxie, Robin Kadirgamar, Exquisite Collaborations and more! Hosted by the fabulous Pearle Harbour, with music by synth wizard Charlie Murray. Admission includes snacks; the cheap art table, materials swap room, and Tranzac bar will be open!
Saturday November 7
Doors at 7:30, show at 8pm: Experimental Cabaret #2
Tickets: $20, or $35 for a Two-Night Pass
Featuring Mind of a Snail (Vancouver) with "Multiple Organisms", Emilia White, Exquisite Collaborations and more! Hosted by the fabulous Pearle Harbour, with music by radical street band Marching Disorder. Admission includes snacks; the cheap art table, materials swap room, and Tranzac bar will be open!
Both Cabarets feature Exquisite Collaborations: short material performances that have each been made between 4 different artists, in 4 phases, throughout the month leading up to the performance. All fresh, nothing recycled except the materials!
Sunday November 8
1:00-3:00pm: Workshop with Mind of a Snail
Tickets: $15 - At the Puppetry Exchange, 219 Augusta Ave (advance registration required)
