Welcome to Jhana Lausevic's Mid-Year Honours Flute Recital. This recital explores themes of simplicity, comfort and memory, through classical and traditional musical techniques. Experience the solace and revival of nature through Scottish and Irish music intermingled with poetry.Repertoire includes:
May Morning Dew (Irish Slow Air, arr. Philippe Barnes)
Fear A’Bhata (Scottish Folk Song)
The Broad Walk (Irish Jig)
Auld Lang Syne- (Scottish Folk Song)-arr. Dan Forrest
Joining me on stage is James Huntingford, piano, Wilber Grantham, guitar, Charlotte Barnard, soprano, Isabella Giuffre, soprano, and Rose Carlino, Alto.
Location: McCusker Recital Hall.
There is no onsite campus parking, however there is closely accessible public transport, with the Perth busport under the City campus, and Perth Station and Perth Underground a short walk away. There is also limited CPP parking available in the area.
This venue is wheelchair accessible, and there are elevators and ramps in use for accessing venues.
Doors will open 10 minutes before the event, and latecomers will be admitted at suitable breaks in the program.
This is a free event.
