About this Event
The Oakland Nonprofit Exchange is a curated, in-person gathering for Oakland based nonprofit leaders and a small number of trusted partners who support the sector.
Each gathering is intentionally small and designed to encourage real conversation, shared learning, and meaningful connection across organizations.
Since launching earlier this year, the Exchange has brought together leaders from across Oakland, creating new connections, collaborations, and conversations that continue beyond the room.
This September, we are returning from our summer break and gathering at Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School in Oakland’s Fruitvale District. Join us to reconnect, meet new peers, and spend time with others doing important work across the city.

The Venue
This month, we are pleased to be hosted by Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School.
Located in Oakland’s Fruitvale District, Cristo Rey De La Salle is a college preparatory high school where every student participates in the school’s Corporate Work Study Program. Students work one day each week at a Bay Area company throughout all four years of high school, gaining meaningful professional experience while preparing for college.
For five consecutive years, 100% of Cristo Rey De La Salle graduates have been accepted to a four-year university.
Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the school, its students, and the partnerships that make its distinctive model possible.
Please note: This September gathering will take place on Thursday, September 24, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm, rather than our usual fourth Wednesday.
