NYC Jewelry Week (NYCJW) returns November 16-22, 2026, for a week-long celebration of jewelry. This year’s edition centers on craftsmanship, exploring the technical expertise, cultural knowledge, economic value, and human expression behind the objects we wear. As technology accelerates and skilled labor shortages reshape the industry, NYCJW 2026 examines why craftsmanship remains essential, not optional, to the future of jewelry.
Throughout the week, audiences will look behind the curtain of jewelry-making through conversations, experiences, and new citywide public demonstrations. Featuring specialized tools, materials, and techniques, from cutting and forming to engraving, sculpting, polishing, and finishing, the activations will bring the making process directly to audiences and offer a deeper understanding of the labor required to transform raw materials into finished jewelry. For its virtual programming, NYCJW will offer extended-form content featuring intimate in-studio visits that take viewers inside jewelry designers' workshops. Audiences will gain a behind-the-scenes look at designers working at their benches, bringing the theme to life while spotlighting artistry and individuality behind a craft that is often underappreciated.
Beyond its core programming, NYCJW continues to support the growth and evolution of the jewelry industry through initiatives including One for the Future, a mentorship program celebrating emerging talent; HERE WE ARE, its flagship equity initiative; the USA Jewelry Tour, spotlighting jewelry communities and talent across the country; and Jewelry Jaunts, offering opportunities to explore the people, places, and stories shaping the jewelry world.
