NUH Parent Education Classes (Face-to-Face)

The Class will be divided in 2 sessions - Mon/Wed.

By the end of these two sessions will have awareness of what to expect during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period. Such as:

-Baby Bathing

-Safe Sleeping (Preventing SIDS - Cot Death)

- Change Nappies

- Stages of Labour

- When it's the right time to attend Maternity Assessment Unit?

- Perineal Care

- Low Risk/High Risk Care in Labour

- When things deviates from normality?

- Postnatal period - Community Midwifery Care, Health Visitor, GP

-Breastfeeding

Mondays will be the 1st session and Wednesday the 2nd. You can attend the sessions separately depending on your work-life schedule.
