The 2026 Dr. Frederick B. Phillips NTU™ Conference: Choosing Wellness During Turbulent Times will take place on Thursday, October 29, at Bowie State University. Hosted by Progressive Life Center, the conference brings together mental health and human-services professionals, educators, community leaders, and others to explore culturally responsive approaches to healing, wellness, and leadership. Grounded in the NTU™ principles of Harmony, Balance, Interconnectedness, and Authenticity, the day will feature a keynote presentation, interactive workshops, an AI & Human Services panel, experiential wellness activities, and an African Market. Participants can earn up to six continuing education units (CEUs).
