Landyn Zane is a fully DIY pop artist, songwriter, producer, and self-taught multi-instrumentalist from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He writes, records, produces, mixes, masters, styles, designs, and creatively directs every part of his music, building theatrical pop worlds through original songs, handmade outfits, cinematic visuals, physical postcards, and genuine direct-to-fan connection.---
Now Hear This is a music series done in collaboration between Orchestra Iowa and GmixEast. The purpose of the series is to introduce, or sometimes reintroduce, an artist to an audience. It is a space for an artist to grow their art, their business acumen, their presentation and/or performance. It is dedicated to being a safe space for artistic exploration and a place of learning the business side of the music business.
Curated and managed by the team at GmixEast and with all the proceeds, after a small Opus expense, going to the artists, this is an investment by GmixEast and Orchestra Iowa in our arts community. A way to give back and nurture, Now Hear This is a showcase of the finest Eastern Iowa talent, an incubator for art, and a resource for an audience to hear something new.
Doors open at 6:30PM with the show starting at 7:00PM. Tickets are $15 available through the Orchestra Iowa ticket office, online at artsiowa.com, or at the door the evening of the event, as available.
