For a long time, so many of us have been doing this work without a place to come together. On Friday, November 6, Iowa marriage and family therapists are reconnecting for a full day of learning, conversation, and community at the Mount Mercy University Graduate Center.
The day offers up to 6 CE hours, with sessions on sex therapy, neurodivergence in the therapy room, inclusive leadership within MFT systems, and cultural competency and ethical practice. We're so glad to be learning from Jessica Kruckeberg, LMFT-S, CST, Dr. Elise Healzer, DM, LMFT, Tiara Munoz, TLMFT, and Rhonda Estling, LMFT.
Over lunch, we'll hold our first membership meeting and introduce the colleagues interested in serving on our first Board of Directors. It's a chance to meet the people who want to help lead this community, and to share what you hope we focus on first.
Membership is open now at mftia.com/membership, starting at $15 for students and $50 for clinical members, and we'd love for you to join so you can be part of that conversation. If you're interested in serving on the board or a committee yourself, reach out at mftia.com/board.
Conference pricing is set for every stage of the profession: $180 for fully licensed clinicians, $90 for temporarily licensed and retired clinicians, and $45 for graduate students.
Save your seat at mftia.com/conference, and tag a colleague you'd love to see there.
