Join us for an evening with Dr. Christian B. Keller as he presents:"The Great Partnership: Lee and Jackson"
Why was the partnership between Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson so important to the Confederate war effort? What made these two commanders such an effective team, and what impact did Jackson's death have on the Confederacy's chances for independence?
Drawing from his award-winning book, Dr. Keller will explore one of the most significant military relationships of the Civil War and offer new insight into Confederate strategy, leadership, and ultimately, why the South lost the war.
Dr. Keller is Professor of History and Director of the Military History Program at the U.S. Army War College and is one of the nation's leading Civil War scholars.
Please Note: This presentation will be recorded and posted online after the meeting. It will not be livestreamed.
Guests are always welcome, so bring a friend!
We look forward to seeing you on November 3 for what promises to be an outstanding program.
