The Northern Utah Trailfest (NUT) is a fall celebration for all trail users—bringing together runners, hikers, and mountain bikers for a weekend of adventure, community, and fun. Best of all, the festival is FREE and open to everyone!
Set in the stunning North Fork Park in Eden, Utah, trail runners and hikers of all abilities can test their endurance in our high-mountain races. Choose between 3-hour or 6-hour timed loop events or check out our new events for 2026.
New for 2026, take on the Cutler Challenge, a unique three-round race with cutoff-based advancement and a fast-paced finish.
Also new this year, the NUT Duathlon brings the ultimate test of versatility and grit. Participants will complete a 3-hour trail run followed by a 3-hour mountain bike ride. Final standings are based on total laps completed across both events, perfect for multi-sport athletes ready to push their limits on both foot and wheels.
Camp for the weekend or come up for the day and experience North Fork Park alongside fellow trail lovers. The Free Community Trailfest at Cutler Flats Base Camp will feature delicious food, live music, vendors, and activities for all ages.
Experience the beauty of fall foliage and share in the excitement and camaraderie of the ‘NUT’ by participating in free festival activities and educational opportunities including guided hikes, stargazing, yoga, and more.
The Northern Utah Trailfest is co-produced by two local 501(c)3 nonprofits, GOAL Foundation and Trails Foundation of Northern Utah with support from Weber County Parks and Recreation.
Join us at North Fork Park for an epic celebration of the trails on October 2-4, 2026.
