ABOUT THE SHOW
Four legends. Four unmistakable sounds. One night of live music.
Night of Legends is a live music revue celebrating the music of Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan and Prince—four artists whose voices, musicianship and influence helped shape generations of music.
This isn’t an impersonation show.
We’re not trying to recreate the artists. We’re honoring the music.
Curated by Artistic Director and singer-songwriter Devon Scott, Night of Legends brings together powerhouse vocalists, a live band, choreography, visual storytelling and theatrical production for a concert experience built around the songs people still know every word to.
From the first note to the final number, the night moves through four themes:
JOY. HONOR. LOVE. CELEBRATION.
Expect music that makes you sing, music that takes you back, and a few songs that may hit differently when you hear them live.
You'll hear favorites including music made famous by the four celebrated artists, with selections such as “A House Is Not a Home,” “Purple Rain,” “I’m Every Woman,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Never Too Much,” “Ain’t Nobody,” “1999,” and more.
WHAT TO EXPECT
LIVE VOCALS
A cast of dynamic singers taking on some of the most recognizable and demanding songs in R&B, soul, funk and pop.
LIVE BAND
No track-driven concert. The music lives onstage with the singers.
THEATRICAL PRODUCTION
Lighting, staging, choreography and visual storytelling transform the evening from a collection of songs into a full theatrical experience.
A REAL TRIBUTE
Throughout the evening, we’ll also reflect on what these artists gave us—their artistry, their influence and the way their music continues to live through generations.
