Sunshine Coast Night Nav Series last event this Tuesday. Meet at the Picnic shed in Shelly Beach Park near the roundabout on Victoria Terrace, Caloundra for starts between 06:00 pm and 06:30 pm.

It's a great way for families or friends to get out of the house and get some exercise after the sun goes down.
Full instruction is available on the night, all you need is a mobile phone (with the MapRun App loaded) and a torch, some people even bring their pooch along.

How to Night Nav:
Before you begin you spend some time looking at the map to plan your course, once you go past the start flag your time starts. Each checkpoint is worth a different number of points and it will register on your phone as you find it (you will just hear a beep on your phone and they are usually placed near light poles), when you return to the finish line you will instantly see where you placed. There's some strategy involved as if you are late back there are points deducted for each minute that you go over your chosen time (40 min or 60 min).
